 About the Blue Lakester, "Lightning": This was a drop tank lake car - they were the hot item after WW2. Hot rodders used these drop tanks to make a dry lake car and try to set new speed records. I thought it would be fun to squeeze this giant engine in a small body for fun.

I bought this engine from one of the Catalog Companies. This car is an expression of my need to do something faster than normal, and get something new and fun out of it.
