About the Wiley Coyote "Acme Screw Company" Special: I like the look of the stripped-down cars. So, I decided to do this model as a stripped-down version. The frame is the same as the other Bantams shown on the site, but without making the hood & body. So the frame is oak like some of the others. And the wheelbase is 13" like most of the other Bantams. |
The odd mirror-type windshield was used on some other stripped-down cars of the era, like the Stutz Bearcat car and some early Ford Raceabouts. The Offy Midget Engine comes from plans I had around the shop here. No upholstry for Mr. Coyote . . . Will Neely, October 2008 |
