About the Number 22: This is one of Harry Miller's beautiful cars. It's more like one of my interpretations of his cars. Most of my information is accurate and came from Mark Dees' book "The Miller Dynasty". However, I was going for the overall look rather than making it an exact replica.
For instance the exhaust is more like an Offenhauser exhaust even though it has eight exhaust tubes or pipes coming from the engine exiting down under the frame - I like it and that is what counts to me. |
Also, I made some parts fit my past knowledge or history, for example the gear selector on the right side is more like an old Truck Browne selector I modified as a kid for my first car. And I'm sure there are other things I did just for the fun of it. Will Neely, October 2008 |
